Make KTR’s meeting a grand success: BRS Bhadradri leader

Hyderabad: Bhadradri district Bharat Rashtra Samithi president Rega Kantha Rao on Sunday urged party workers to ensure the success of the meeting of party working president K. T. Rama Rao, scheduled to be held at Kothagudem on January 7.

Speaking at a district-level preparatory meeting at the BRS district office, Kantha Rao said the programme aims to felicitate sarpanches, deputy sarpanches, and ward members who won the recent panchayat elections. Therefore, he called on party cadres to turn out in large numbers and make the event a success.

Meanwhile, Kantha Rao said the BRS won more seats than expected in the panchayat polls. He rejected claims by the Congress party that internal issues weakened the party. Instead, he said the BRS has a strong base in every village.

Moreover, he asked party workers to show the same strength in the upcoming municipal elections. He stressed that the BRS flag should fly high in Kothagudem, Illandu, and Aswaraopeta municipalities.

In addition, Kantha Rao said that with Kothagudem now upgraded as a corporation, the party should aim to win all 60 divisions. He noted that strong planning and unity would help achieve the target.
