Maganti Sunitha files nomination for Jubilee Hills by-election

Hyderabad: The Jubilee Hills by-election gained pace on Wednesday as BRS candidate Maganti Sunitha filed her nomination papers. She reached the Shaikpet Tahsildar’s office with BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao (KTR), former minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav, MLAs Padma Rao, Ravula Sridhar Reddy, Didipya Rao, Vishnuvardhan Reddy, Rajkumar Patel, Sameena Yasmin and several other leaders and supporters.
The Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) treats this by-election as a prestige battle. Party leaders are working aggressively to retain the Jubilee Hills seat after the death of sitting MLA Maganti Gopinath.

BRS steps up campaign for Jubilee Hills by-election

Election officials announced that the nomination process will continue till October 21. They said scrutiny will take place on October 22, and candidates can withdraw their papers till October 24.
Polling for the election will take place on November 11, and counting will follow on November 14. The complete election process will end on November 16, according to officials.
The BRS aims to defend one of its key urban constituencies. KTR said the party will fight strongly to win Jubilee Hills with the support of all sections.
