Hyderabad: Asia Book of Records and India Book of Records conferred their awards on the organising team that successfully created the largest human formation of a star using candles at Tanuku in West Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh on December 15, 2025.
As part of the recognition, the record authorities formally acknowledged the achievement for executing the largest candle-based human star formation. Moreover, the attempt received appreciation for its scale and precision. At the same time, the organisers highlighted disciplined coordination among participants. Consequently, the event stood out as a well-executed mass activity.
Former Director General of Police of united Andhra Pradesh Noel Swarnajit Sen, along with J. Chiranjeevi, Founder of Ashirwad Global Learning Center, presented the record certificates to the organisers.
Largest candle star formation earns national, international recognition
On the occasion, Rt. Rev. Bishop Dr. Mathew Meagher and Rev. O. Manoj Bob received the honours on behalf of the organising committee. In addition, several team members played key roles in executing the event. Specifically, Rev. G. Timothy Raju, Bishop B. David Raju, Rev. A. Sam Bob, Rev. R. Salmon Joseph, Rev. E. Vijay Prasad, Rev. P. I. Brenham, Rev. K. Blessing Raju, Rev. K. S. Raju, Rev. K. David Babu, Rev. A. Reddiah, Rev. S. Krupavaram, Rev. G. Joshua, and Rev. B. Yesu Ratnam contributed to the coordination.
Meanwhile, organisers said the candlelight formation symbolised unity, peace, and collective responsibility. As a result, the visual display reflected harmony and social commitment. Therefore, record officials and dignitaries praised the effort. Furthermore, they noted the message conveyed through the formation.
Speaking further, the organisers expressed gratitude to volunteers, participants, and supporters. Additionally, they said the recognition reflected teamwork and shared vision. Ultimately, they said the milestone would inspire future initiatives focused on social awareness and unity.
