Hyderabad: BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao lashed out at Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy on Tuesday, accusing him of embracing destructive politics rather than focusing on development. Addressing the media at the BRK Bhavan, KTR warned that no one could tarnish KCR’s legacy, insisting that the former CM’s contribution to irrigation and the state’s green revolution was unmatched.
“Revanth Reddy can never match the understanding of irrigation that KCR has,” KTR declared. “No politician in this country comes close to KCR’s vision. History will record KCR’s name in golden letters for his role in securing and greening Telangana.”
Criticising Revanth Reddy’s leadership, KTR said, “He’s not here to build but to demolish tearing down houses of the poor, scrapping projects, indulging in political vendetta and harassment. That’s all he’s good for. No matter how many times he’s reborn, a small-time politician like Revanth Reddy will never understand KCR’s greatness.”
He added that Revanth Reddy’s government might try every tactic, but it wouldn’t dent KCR’s legacy. “We won’t let Revanth off the hook. We will chase the Congress to the ground,” he said.
Appealing to the public, KTR urged people to ignore “petty politicians” and remain vigilant. “Keep exposing the Congress government’s six guarantees and 420 promises,” he said. “The day is not far when the people will see Revanth Reddy for what he truly is.”
