Hyderabad: BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao on Friday clarified that former Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao was admitted to Yashoda Hospital in Somajiguda for a routine medical check-up and will remain under observation for monitoring of blood sugar and sodium levels.
Sharing the update on social media, KTR said KCR was advised by doctors to stay for a day or two so that key health indicators could be tracked closely. He thanked party cadres and supporters for their messages of concern.
“Admitted Thursday evening as part of a routine check-up. Doctors have recommended a short stay to stabilise sugar and sodium levels,” KTR posted, adding there was no need for panic and that his father’s condition was stable.
