Hyderabad: The Jubilee Hills by-election gained momentum as BRS candidate Maganti Sunitha Gopinath filed her nomination on Wednesday. Before heading to file papers, BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) spoke to reporters at Telangana Bhavan.
He said the election is not between parties but between ten years of BRS governance and two years of Congress chaos.
KTR calls the Jubilee Hills by-election a choice for development
KTR stated that this by-election reflects “Rythu Bandhu rule versus lawless rule.” He added that people want stability and progress.
He said over 1.67 crore women in Telangana are watching Sunitha’s campaign closely. They hope the government will finally deliver the promised ₹2,500 monthly support for women.
KTR also said jobless youth are waiting for change after being “cheated by false promises of two lakh jobs.” Hyderabad flood victims and minorities betrayed by the Congress also seek justice, he added.
He expressed confidence that the BRS will restart its political resurgence from Jubilee Hills. “With support from all sections, Sunitha will win a decisive victory,” KTR said.
