Hyderabad: BRS Working President K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) said the “eclipse on Hyderabad and Telangana must end,” urging that former Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) return to power.
Posting on X (Twitter) on Friday, KTR shared that Hyderabad witnessed remarkable growth between 2014 and 2023 under KCR’s leadership. He said every sector — from information technology to pharmaceuticals — made unprecedented progress during that period.
KTR calls for KCR’s return, says Congress rule dimmed city’s growth
KTR said employment, business, and industrial opportunities flourished in the BRS government’s tenure. Moreover, he noted that the administration maintained peace, security, and environmental balance while ensuring benefits reached every citizen.
He praised the previous BRS rule for making Hyderabad a globally recognised city. “Under KCR’s leadership, the city’s development was visible to everyone, and its name shone worldwide,” he wrote.
However, he criticised the Congress government for what he described as a decline in Hyderabad’s progress over the past two years. “The city has lost its shine under Congress rule,” he said, alleging that all sectors had slowed down.
KTR ended his post by appealing to citizens to bring back KCR’s leadership to restore the state’s momentum and development.
