Hyderabad: The Election Commission of India has invited the Bharat Rashtra Samithi to a high-level meeting with national political parties on August 5 in New Delhi.
The session, scheduled for 3 PM at Nirvachan Sadan, will be led by BRS working president K. T. Rama Rao. The ECI invitation to BRS comes as part of the Commission’s outreach on election reforms and conduct norms.

ECI invites BRS to national talks on poll reforms
An official letter from ECI Secretary Ashwini Kumar Mohal formally confirmed the invitation. It was also forwarded to BRS leaders through the Chief Electoral Officer of Telangana.
The BRS delegation will include:
- K. R. Suresh Reddy, Rajya Sabha MP and floor leader
- Vaddiraju Ravichandra, Rajya Sabha MP
- Boinapalli Vinod Kumar, former MP
- Balka Suman, former MP and senior party leader
- R. S. Praveen Kumar, BRS general secretary
Party insiders said the discussions will likely cover existing representations submitted by BRS, proposed reforms, and Model Code of Conduct issues.
With heightened political activity across several states, the timing and agenda of this meeting carry added weight.
