KTR lauds KCR’s legacy: “He turned a 60-year dream into reality”

Hyderabad: BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao on Tuesday paid an emotional tribute to his father, former Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao, hailing him as the leader who turned a 60-year-old dream into reality.

In a heartfelt social media post, KTR said KCR had achieved what was thought impossible for decades the creation of Telangana through a democratic movement driven by pure passion. “He fought for a separate state, a dream cherished by millions,” KTR wrote.

He praised his father’s vision, highlighting the Kaleshwaram project as a lifeline that quenched Telangana’s thirst. “It would take a lifetime for small-minded people to even begin to understand KCR’s strength,” he said, taking a dig at Congress. “Even a hundred rebirths won’t be enough for these Congress clowns to serve Telangana like KCR did,” he added.

KTR’s tribute was widely seen as a powerful endorsement of KCR’s leadership and his role in Telangana’s statehood movement.
