Hyderabad, January 26: BRS Working President K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) has criticized Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka’s announcement that four welfare schemes will be implemented on a pilot basis in only one village per mandal. KTR questioned whether the Congress manifesto, guarantee cards, and election campaigns specified that these schemes would be limited to a single village per mandal. He accused the Congress of misleading the public by promising benefits to all during elections but now restricting them to a few. KTR warned that the four crore people of Telangana will not forgive such deception and emphasized that while the opposition is prepared to wait patiently, the public is unwilling to endure what he termed a year of deceitful governance. He concluded by stating that in villages where schemes are not implemented, a public struggle will ensue.
