KTR appoints BRS coordinators for municipal elections across Telangana

Hyderabad: BRS working president K. Taraka Rama Rao has officially appointed senior party leaders as coordinators for each municipality and corporation in Telangana. This move comes as BRS appoints municipal leaders ahead of the upcoming municipal elections.

Senior leaders to lead poll strategy and candidate selection

Each coordinator will act as an election in-charge. With this step, BRS appoints municipal coordinators who are tasked with mobilising party cadres, devising constituency-specific campaign strategies, and coordinating booth-level agents. Additionally, they will remain stationed in their respective municipalities throughout the election period.

Their key responsibilities include selecting strong candidates in consultation with local leadership. Moreover, they must gather ground-level intelligence and submit regular reports to the party’s central office at Telangana Bhavan and to the working president. The party, as part of how BRS appoints municipal representatives for robust oversight, has set up a dedicated mechanism to ensure real-time flow of election trends and reports.

KTR also released the full list of appointed municipal election coordinators. Notably, coordinators to strengthen their local presence. He urged party cadres to work with public support to secure victory in the upcoming polls.
