KTR accuses Revanth Reddy of ignoring Ambedkar’s Constitution in Telangana

Hyderabad: BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) accused Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy of running Telangana according to his own Constitution rather than implementing the Constitution authored by Dr B.R. Ambedkar.

Addressing the media at Telangana Bhavan on Thursday, October 29, KTR criticised the Congress government’s administration and financial priorities. He alleged that the state’s drought-like conditions reflected the Chief Minister’s incompetence and failures in governance.

According to KTR, the prevailing crisis did not arise solely from natural factors. Instead, he claimed the Congress government’s administrative failures had aggravated the situation.

KTR accuses Revanth Reddy of neglecting public concerns

KTR accused the Chief Minister of failing to address pressing problems affecting farmers and residents across Telangana. He alleged that the state had suffered setbacks in several sectors since the Congress government assumed office.

Moreover, he questioned the administration’s handling of drought-like conditions and drinking water shortages in Hyderabad. The BRS leader maintained that poor governance had worsened public hardships. He also accused the government of failing to prioritise essential services and commitments made to voters.

KTR demanded that the Congress administration address these concerns instead of concentrating on publicity-oriented initiatives. Questioning the government’s financial priorities, KTR criticised its proposed expenditure on the Musi River beautification project.

He said the Congress government repeatedly cited financial constraints when asked to implement its election promises. However, he questioned how the same administration could mobilise thousands of crores of rupees for the Musi project.

KTR argued that the government should prioritise electoral commitments and urgent public needs over expensive beautification initiatives. He also questioned the justification for spending substantial public funds on the river project while farmers and Hyderabad residents faced difficulties.

The BRS working president demanded that the government fulfil its promises to the people rather than pursue what he described as publicity-driven programmes.

KTR promises support to Musi river basin residents

KTR assured residents living along the Musi river basin that the BRS would continue supporting their interests. He said the party would stand firmly with affected residents and continue fighting on their behalf.

Furthermore, he questioned the government’s decision to prioritise the Musi beautification project despite unresolved public concerns. The BRS leader reiterated his criticism of the Congress administration’s financial management and its approach to governance.

KTR accuses Revanth Reddy of placing expensive projects ahead of electoral promises and essential public requirements. He maintained that the government must address farmers’ hardships, drinking water shortages and other pressing issues affecting Telangana residents.
