Hyderabad: BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao (KTR) accused the Congress of using desperate tactics to secure victory in the Jubilee Hills by-election. He cited the ruling party’s last-minute promises to film workers and the reported inclusion of Mohd Azharuddin in the Cabinet as political gimmicks to hide its governance failures.
KTR Jubilee Hills by-election remarks target Congress governance failures
In a post on X, KTR said the Congress government had realised its failures only after two years in power. “Instead of delivering on its promises, the government is now relying on publicity stunts and symbolic gestures,” he wrote.
He mocked the Ministers for “running around the lanes of Hyderabad like never before” to impress voters. According to KTR, these acts show panic rather than confidence.
KTR urges voters to reject Congress in Jubilee Hills by-election
The BRS leader appealed to voters to deliver a strong message through the ballot box. “When the Congress loses its deposit in the Jubilee Hills by-election, only then will it start implementing the six guarantees and 420 promises it made in 2023,” KTR said.
He reiterated that the ruling party’s sudden activity was driven purely by political desperation, not public service.
I guess desperate times call for desperate measures 😁
After 2 years in Govt, looks like Congress party is finally waking up to ground realities
Promising the moon to cine workers, inducting Azharuddin in cabinet and ministers desperately running around in Hyderabad Gullies…
