Hyderabad: Roads and Buildings Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy cast his vote in the Nalgonda Municipal Corporation elections on Wednesday.
Komatireddy Venkat Reddy casts vote at the Nalgonda Public School polling station in Division 33 of Nalgonda. After exercising his franchise, he described voting as a powerful weapon in a democracy.
He urged every citizen to use the right to vote responsibly. According to him, active participation would strengthen democratic governance.
The Minister expressed confidence that the Congress would win a majority of seats in municipal corporations and municipalities across the state. He said the party would secure victory in all divisions of the Nalgonda Municipal Corporation.

He said he would provide basic infrastructure in all government schools. In addition, he promised to develop Nalgonda municipality into a model city.
The Minister said the government had already initiated several development works worth crores of rupees in the town. He added that these projects would further improve civic amenities.
He reiterated that people were supporting the government’s development agenda. With that support, he said, the Congress would achieve a decisive mandate in the ongoing local body elections.
