Hyderabad: The Komatireddy Sushilamma Foundation will organise its 17th free eye camp at the Narayanpur mandal headquarters on Sunday, September 27.
The programme will continue the foundation’s efforts to provide eye care to underprivileged elderly people. Komatireddy Raj Gopal Reddy and his wife have been supporting the initiative through the foundation.
So far, the foundation has conducted 16 free eye camps and provided eye examinations to 12,306 people. In addition, 2,673 people underwent eye surgeries through the initiative. The foundation also distributed spectacles to 5,522 people following its eye care programmes.
17th free eye camp scheduled in Narayanpur
The free eye camp will take place at the Narayanpur mandal headquarters on September 27. The foundation has focused its eye care initiative on helping underprivileged people, particularly elderly beneficiaries with vision problems.
Through the previous 16 camps, thousands of people received examinations, surgical treatment and spectacles. The latest camp will continue the programme by providing free eye care services in Narayanpur.
