Hyderabad: Telangana’s flagship 2BHK housing mission gained fresh momentum as major infrastructure upgrades began at the Kollur 2BHK Colony under Tellapur Municipality. The new projects aim to build a self-sufficient community with complete civic amenities.
Kollur 2BHK Colony infrastructure upgrade gathers pace
Housing Corporation Managing Director V. P. Gautham and District Collector P. Pravinya visited the colony to inspect progress. They met with beneficiaries and reviewed ongoing works to ensure faster completion.
Ministers Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy, Damodar Rajanarasimha, and Vivek Venkatswamy will soon lay foundation stones for a high school and public park in the township. Meanwhile, construction of a Primary Health Centre (PHC) has already started, creating new healthcare access for residents.
State pushes for integrated civic growth
Officials said these initiatives reflect the government’s commitment to holistic development and quality living. The upgraded infrastructure will bring education, health, and recreation closer to families. Moreover, the model set by Kollur is expected to guide similar 2BHK colonies statewide.
