Kishan Reddy to distribute appointment letters at Rozgar Mela in Secunderabad

Hyderabad: Union Cabinet Minister G. Kishan Reddy will distribute appointment letters to newly recruited Central Government employees at a Rozgar Mela function in Secunderabad on Saturday. The event will begin at 10 am at Rail Kalarang, Bhoiguda.

At the national level, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will issue over 51,000 appointment letters via video conference at 11 am and address the new recruits. The Rozgar Mela, aimed at boosting employment generation, is part of the Centre’s ongoing initiative to provide government job opportunities across departments.

This marks the 16th edition of the Rozgar Mela, with simultaneous events scheduled at 47 locations nationwide. In the South Central Railway zone, the distribution is taking place in Secunderabad, Guntur, and Guntakal.

The current batch of recruits will join various Central ministries and departments, including Railways, Home Affairs, Posts, Health and Family Welfare, Financial Services, and Labour and Employment. The appointees have been selected from across the country and will take up posts in multiple disciplines.

Officials confirmed that more than 10 lakh appointment letters have been distributed through Rozgar Melas to date.
