Hyderabad: Union Minister and Telangana BJP President G. Kishan Reddy joined locals in Sanathnagar on Sunday to listen to the 122nd episode of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Mann Ki Baat, urging citizens to adopt the message of cleanliness, yoga, and health awareness in their daily lives.
Speaking after the broadcast, Kishan Reddy described Mann Ki Baat as more than a radio address, calling it a “movement that unites, inspires, and steers India toward a healthier, more disciplined society.” He said every suggestion by the Prime Minister, particularly those tied to public health and social responsibility, must be actively followed.
Turning sharply political, the minister then invoked the government’s muscular response to terror attacks, citing the Pahalgam incident as a turning point. “The days of responding to terror with flowers and candles are over,” he said. “Modi showed the world that if one Indian life is lost, we’ll strike back a hundredfold.”

He went on to highlight Operation Sindoor, an offensive carried out across the border, where Indian forces allegedly destroyed nine terror camps deep inside Pakistan-controlled territory. He said the mission sent a strong message, even as it came at a cost, mentioning that a soldier from Visakhapatnam had lost his life during the operation.
“Pakistan behaves like a crooked dog’s tail when it comes to terrorism,” Kishan Reddy said bluntly. “If they don’t mend their ways, we’ll have no choice but to chop that tail off.”
Calling on citizens to reinforce national unity, he urged participation in Tiranga rallies being held across Hyderabad. He said he himself had led such marches in Amberpet, Jubilee Hills, Nampally, and Musheerabad.
