Hyderabad: BRS chief K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) on Sunday lashed out at the Congress-led Telangana government for failing to introduce a single new policy in the past two years.
Addressing the BRS Legislature Party and state executive meeting at Telangana Bhavan, KCR accused the government of focusing more on personal attacks than public welfare. “Their only strategy is to curse me and hope for my death,” he said, criticising the administration’s priorities.
According to KCR, the Congress government has not only avoided launching fresh welfare programmes but has also halted existing ones. Instead, he claimed, the few policies they brought in focused only on real estate, yet property values across the state have sharply declined.

KCR says Congress leadership failed to deliver governance
He contrasted this with BRS governance, which, he said, never resorted to arrogance or violence. KCR noted that recent local body election results reflected public anger against the ruling party. He praised party workers for securing wins and said the outcome clearly showed how Congress MLAs had lost public trust.
Furthermore, he criticised the government’s mismanagement of agricultural supplies. “Earlier, urea reached farmers directly. Now, entire families must stand in line for a single bag,” he said. He blamed the Congress for creating such distress among farming communities.

KCR also mocked the ruling party’s behaviour, saying it was training members in aggressive tactics. “They’re now teaching how to dismantle doors and break locks,” he remarked, accusing the government of inciting conflict rather than focusing on governance.
