Kavitha launches Jagruthi Jana Baata in Adilabad, pays tribute to Komaram Bheem

Hyderabad: Former MP and Telangana Jagruthi president K. Kavitha launched the Jagruthi Jana Baata programme in Adilabad on Monday. According to the schedule, she arrived in the morning and began her visit by offering floral tributes to Komaram Bheem’s statue.

Speaking on the occasion, Kavitha said Komaram Bheem’s sacrifice remained an inspiration for future generations. She added that his courage and dedication symbolised the spirit of Telangana’s struggle. Moreover, she stated that Telangana Jagruthi aimed to instil awareness among the youth and preserve the State’s rich cultural heritage.

Colourful tribal welcome for Kavitha in Adilabad

Kavitha received a warm welcome from local tribal communities who greeted her with traditional drums and Gussadi dance performances. Women and young girls dressed in vibrant traditional attire joined the celebrations, adding colour and enthusiasm to the event.

A large number of Jagruthi activists, public representatives, and tribal leaders attended the programme. Addressing the gathering, Kavitha said, “Telangana society grows stronger through everyone’s contribution. Our tribal culture is our pride.”
