Hyderabad: Telangana Kamma associations have declared full support for Congress candidate Naveen Yadav in the upcoming Jubilee Hills by-election. The announcement was made in the presence of Ministers Ponnam Prabhakar and Uttam Kumar Reddy at the Yousufguda Congress office.

B Ravi Shankar Rao, President of the Telangana State Kamma Associations Federation, said that 60 Kamma associations were active across the state. He stated that the Kamma community had decided to back Naveen Yadav, the Congress candidate, in the by-election.
Ravi Shankar Rao described Naveen Yadav as a good and socially committed person who had supported the people with low-income through several welfare initiatives for many years.
He noted that around 40,000 voters from the Kamma community lived in the Jubilee Hills constituency. He said this support would strengthen Congress’s position in the by-election.
The leaders praised the Congress government for implementing a law granting 42% reservations for Backward Classes. They appealed to Dalit, minority, and economically weaker sections to unite behind the Congress and ensure Naveen Yadav’s victory.
