Hyderabad, January 25: Income Tax (IT) officials have concluded extensive searches at the residences and offices of several prominent film industry figures in Hyderabad.
The raids, which began on Tuesday morning, targeted individuals including producer Dil Raju and the owners of Mythri Movie Makers, Naveen Yerneni and Yalamanchili Ravi Shankar. Authorities seized key documents and hard disks related to financial transactions during these operations. Notably, Dil Raju was escorted from his residence in Jubilee Hills to his office at SV Creations in Sagar Society, where officials examined and confiscated pertinent materials in his presence.
The IT department’s actions, unprecedented in their four-day duration, have become a significant topic of discussion within the city.
