Hyderabad: IPS probationers of the 77th RR batch, currently undergoing training at the Telangana State Police Academy (TSPA), met Telangana Governor Jishnu Dev Varma at Raj Bhavan on Saturday.
The probationers, assigned to Telangana, were accompanied by TSPA Director General Abhilasha Bisth, IPS. She briefed the Governor on their training modules, field exposure, and readiness for service in the state police force.

Governor Varma congratulated the young officers for choosing a path of public service. He underscored the importance of the Indian Police Service in safeguarding constitutional values. Moreover, he emphasized maintaining law and order, and upholding democratic principles.
He advised the probationers to approach their future roles with commitment, fairness, and empathy. He also extended his best wishes for their success in public service.
