Hyderabad: Information and Public Relations Department Additional Director Jagan on Wednesday directed Information Department officials to provide timely updates on developments at the Medaram Maha Jathara.
He also instructed officials to ensure coordinated media coverage throughout the four-day tribal congregation. According to Jagan, officials from all departments must work in close coordination to ensure smooth information flow.
On the day the jathara began, the Additional Director chaired a coordination meeting at the media centre set up at Medaram. During the review, he issued clear directions to officials deployed in Medaram and nearby areas.

During the interaction, Jagan asked officials to discharge their duties responsibly. Emphasising preparedness, he stressed the importance of effective media management and accurate coverage of jathara-related events.
At the same time, he said officials must remain alert at all times. He added that timely and verified information was essential to avoid confusion and ensure public awareness.
Deputy Directors V. Venkateshwarlu and Venkata Suresh attended the meeting. Along with them, Information Department engineering wing officials Bhoopal and Kondaiah were present.
District Public Relations Department officers also participated in the coordination meeting. Officials discussed steps to strengthen coordination with media personnel and ensure uninterrupted information flow from the jathara venue.
