IPPB launches doorstep digital life certificate service for Telangana pensioners

Hyderabad: India Post Payments Bank (IPPB) has launched a doorstep Digital Life Certificate (DLC) service for pensioners across Telangana, removing the need to visit banks or government offices for Jeevan Pramaan submission.

The new service, rolled out under the Department of Posts, enables Aadhaar-based biometric authentication at home. IPPB postmen and Gramin Dak Sevaks (GDS), equipped with handheld devices, will carry out the process for pensioners from Central and State Governments, EPFO, Defence, Singareni Collieries, Beedi Workers and other sectors.

To avail the service, pensioners can book through the nearest Post Office, the Post Info mobile app, or by calling the IPPB toll-free number 155299. The facility is available through 23 IPPB branches and 6,256 post office access points across Telangana. A fee of ₹70 (inclusive of GST) is applicable per transaction.

Dr. D. Veena Kumari, Chief Post Master General of Telangana, said the service aligns with the Government’s Digital India and Ease of Living goals. She added that it enhances IPPB’s citizen-focused delivery model.

Pensioners may contact their nearest Post Office or IPPB branch for more details.
