HYDRAA’s actions questioned by congress MLA Anirudh Reddy

HYDERABAD: Congress MLA Anirudh Reddy has voiced serious concerns regarding the operations of the Hyderabad Disaster Response and Asset Protection Agency (HYDRAA), alleging misuse of official notices and a lack of responsiveness from the agency’s commissioner, Ranganath.

In a media interaction, Reddy claimed that HYDRAA has been issuing notices and conducting transactions that raise questions about the agency’s integrity. He specifically accused Commissioner Ranganath of not responding to calls, highlighting an incident where the commissioner allegedly ignored his attempts to communicate. Reddy questioned, “If the commissioner does not respond to an MLA, what will be the fate of common people?”

The MLA also expressed intentions to escalate the matter by filing another complaint with the Chief Minister concerning the Manhatten Project. Previously, Reddy criticized HYDRAA’s approach to constructions by Vamsiram Builders in Khajaguda’s Kottakunta area, indicating ongoing tensions between the agency and certain political figures.

These allegations have sparked discussions about the transparency and accountability of HYDRAA’s operations, emphasizing the need for clear communication and fair practices in urban development and law enforcement.
