Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Disaster Response and Assets Monitoring and Protection Agency (HYDRAA) has mobilised over 4,000 personnel to address rain-related emergencies during the current monsoon season.
Officials said 150 monsoon emergency teams have been formed, with four workers per shift across three shifts, involving a total of 1,800 staff.
Additionally, 734 employees have been readied to work in two shifts at locations prone to waterlogging.
HYDRAA has 51 Disaster Response Force teams, each with 18 members, operating in special monsoon duties with six workers per shift.
Emergency services have also been reinforced with 21 motorcycle teams, each consisting of two members, for rapid response.
To monitor operations across 30 city circles, 30 marshals have been assigned. Another 20 teams, involving 200 personnel, will work with traffic police in two shifts to manage monsoon-related challenges.
