HYDERABAD, January 30, 2025: BRS MLC Madhusudhanachari has strongly reacted to the remarks made by Assembly Speaker Gaddam Prasad Kumar, who claimed that the government lacked funds to implement welfare schemes. Speaking to the media at Telangana Bhavan, Madhusudhanachari accused the Congress government of misleading the public with unrealistic promises during the election campaign.
Madhusudhanachari stated that the Speaker’s comments implied that the Congress government has now backed out from fulfilling the promises made to the people. He criticised both the Chief Minister and other ministers for making inconsistent statements regarding the election guarantees. He alleged that Congress leaders, including Bhatti Vikramarka, misled voters about the financial situation and the feasibility of implementing the promises. Madhusudhanachari emphasised that the Speaker’s comments made it clear that the Congress had given deceptive promises to win the election.
He further accused Congress leaders of spreading lies about the state’s financial condition. In just one year, he pointed out, the Congress government had accumulated a debt of Rs 1.43 lakh crore. Along with the growing debt, Madhusudhanachari highlighted the rise in farmer suicides and the overall chaos in the state under Congress rule. He vowed to intensify the public fight against the Congress government, promising to ensure that the promises made by Congress are held accountable and implemented.
