Hyderabad: Governor Jishnu Dev Varma, accompanied by First Lady Sudha Dev Varma, visited the Medaram shrine on Friday to take part in the nation’s largest tribal fair, the Medaram Jathara. This year, the Governor visits Medaram shrine to show respect and honour tribal traditions. The Governor’s presence at the site reflected the state’s respect for tribal customs and spiritual heritage.
He paid homage to deities Sammakka and Saralamma by offering prayers and presenting traditional sarees. During the visit, he participated in rituals that underscored the link between ancient tribal traditions and modern civic representation.
