Hyderabad: Nacharam police arrested a 21-year-old man for selling the banned substance in Chanakyapuri Colony, bringing a fresh ganja arrest case into focus. SI Venkataiah said his team conducted checks around 7 p.m. on Tuesday in the Mallapur area. Officers found ganja with the accused, Sanjay Kumar Yadav, a resident of Chanakya Nagar.
Police said Sanjay works as a labourer at the FCI godown in Mallapur. They seized 110 grams of ganja from him along with a mobile phone and a small weighing machine. Officers noted that he kept the material ready for sale and aimed to move it within the locality.
Ganja arrest case expands as police track supply links
SI Venkataiah registered a case and questioned the accused to identify the source of the substance. Investigators aim to trace the supply route and verify whether others supported the distribution. Police expect more details as the inquiry progresses and plan to examine each lead before concluding the investigation.
