Hyderabad: Five people died in two separate road accidents in Sangareddy and Vizianagaram districts on Sunday, police said. These road accidents in Sangareddy and Vizianagaram have raised concerns about traffic safety in the region.
In Sangareddy district, three members of a family were killed when a speeding motorcycle lost control and fell into a culvert pit on the Bidar highway near Narayankhed. All three occupants of the bike died on the spot. This tragic road accident in Sangareddy has left the community in mourning.
Police, alerted by local residents, reached the scene and confirmed that the deceased belonged to the same family. A case was registered and an investigation is underway.
In a separate incident in Vizianagaram district, two people died when their car crashed into a tree near the Gajapathinagaram railway station. Both occupants were declared dead at the scene.
