Hyderabad: A man was shot dead during a morning walk in Malakpet, triggering panic in the area. The shooting took place early Tuesday near a park in Shalivahana Nagar, where unidentified assailants opened fire on Chandu Naik. He died on the spot from severe bullet injuries.
Police reached the scene shortly after receiving the alert and began combing the vicinity for evidence. CCTV cameras near the park are being examined to identify the attackers.
Witnesses reported sudden gunfire while walkers were in the park, causing alarm and a rush to flee the area. Police have registered a case and launched an investigation.
