Fire at private school Sangareddy: School shut for polling, disaster averted
Since the school was closed for municipal election polling, no students or staff were present at the time. This helped prevent what could have been a major tragedy.
Firefighters reached the location promptly and battled the blaze for several hours before bringing it under control. Officials confirmed that everyone remained safe.
Investigators believe an electrical short circuit may have sparked the fire. The authorities have launched a detailed probe and are now evaluating the scale of the damage.
