Hyderabad: Authorities conducted a large-scale fire mock drill at the Dr B.R. Ambedkar Telangana Secretariat on Tuesday to ensure alert response during fire accidents and prevent loss of life and property.
The drill aimed to train personnel on handling emergency situations. Officials provided special training to personnel of the Telangana State Special Protection Force on effective emergency response.
As part of the exercise, fire department officials explained several critical safety measures. They demonstrated the correct use of fire extinguishers to control different types of fires.
They also explained precautions needed to stop the spread of flames. In addition, they stressed the importance of coordination among staff during emergencies.
Fire mock drill trains TGSPF, Secretariat staff
The programme saw participation from Chief Security Officer P. Devi Das, Assistant Commandants A. Appaji and C.H. Pawan Kumar, and ADFO G. V. Prasad.
Around 100 TGSPF personnel and Secretariat staff took part in the mock drill. They actively participated in all stages of the exercise.
Officials said such drills help strengthen safety standards at the Secretariat. They added that regular training improves preparedness at the State’s highest administrative office.
