Etela Rajender affirms full cooperation with Kaleshwaram Probe

Hyderabad: BJP MP Etela Rajender has pledged full cooperation with the inquiry into the Kaleshwaram project, asserting that he would attend the commission proceedings without fail once he receives an official notice.

Speaking to the media on Tuesday, Rajender clarified that he had not been formally served any notice yet and had only learned of the matter through media reports. He stated that he would consult with party leadership and act on its guidance once an official summons is issued.

Addressing Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, Rajender challenged the legitimacy of the ongoing probe and accused the Congress government of political vendetta. He drew a parallel between the current investigation and previous allegations involving land at Devar Yamjal, hinting at what he described as similar actions by former CM K. Chandrashekar Rao.

“We are not afraid of threats,” Rajender said. “The BJP leads the government at the Centre. You may conduct any inquiry, but remember, we hold your records as well.”

He also dismissed the CM’s alleged attempts to discredit him through lower-level party workers, declaring he would not be intimidated by what he called “cheap tactics”.
