Eagle arrests 11 youths for ganja use in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: Eagle task force officers arrested 11 individuals for consuming ganja after tracing them through details collected from recently detained suppliers. Soon after receiving the information, the teams moved swiftly and tested all eleven youths with drug-detection kits in front of their parents. The results confirmed consistent drug use. Consequently, officers began counselling and shifted the youths to certified de-addiction centres for structured rehabilitation.

Eagle officials stated that they would question the individuals again once the programme ends. Moreover, they may consider limited relief in the legal cases if noticeable improvement appears. However, officers stressed that strict action will follow if drug use continues. Since addiction is rising among the young, the task force also intensified routine surveillance across several localities to reduce drug circulation.
