DGP Shivadher Reddy inspects new Police Martyrs’ Memorial works in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: DGP Shivadher Reddy on Thursday inspected the construction works of the new Police Amaraveerula Stupam (Martyrs’ Memorial) at Goshamahal Police Grounds in Hyderabad.

The DGP reviewed the progress of the project along with senior Hyderabad police officers. The memorial is being built to honour police personnel who sacrificed their lives in the line of duty.

Every year, the Telangana Police Department observes Police Martyrs’ Commemoration Day on October 21 at Goshamahal Stadium. In view of this annual event, the DGP visited the site to assess the readiness and quality of construction works.

Additional DGP (Law and Order) Mahesh M. Bhagwat, Hyderabad Commissioner of Police V.C. Sajjanar, Telangana Police Housing Corporation MD M. Ramesh, Joint CP (Security) Tafseer Iqbal, Joint CP (Traffic) Joel Davis, and other senior officials accompanied the DGP during the inspection.
