Hyderabad: A Nalgonda accident claimed the life of Munugode police station constable Sheikh Tayyub, drawing condolences from DGP Shivdhar Reddy.
The incident occurred on Friday near Chandanapalli on the outskirts of Nalgonda town. Sheikh Tayyub was returning after performing election duties when a DCM vehicle hit him. As a result, he died in the accident, officials said.
Reacting to the Nalgonda accident, the DGP said the loss deeply saddened the police department. He described the death of a young constable in the line of duty as an irreparable loss.

The DGP said Sheikh Tayyub’s services would remain memorable for the department. Moreover, he conveyed heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family.
He assured that the Telangana Police would extend full support to the family during this difficult time. In addition, he urged family members to remain strong despite the tragedy caused by the accident.
The incident cast a pall of gloom over the district police force.
