He said the Speaker’s office had not sent any response so far, despite his side submitting an explanation. Therefore, he said he was waiting for the Speaker’s decision on the matter.

Danam Nagender said the Speaker had not issued any directions asking him to appear personally for the inquiry. He added that no one had instructed him to attend in person and that his legal team was currently handling the case.

Danam Nagender comments amid Supreme Court focus on defections

Meanwhile, Danam Nagender said the BRS had not suspended him so far. However, he said his reaction would depend on the party’s future actions.

He also said he was not afraid of elections. At the same time, he maintained that his legal team was closely monitoring developments related to the inquiry.

The Speaker has accelerated the inquiry process amid the Supreme Court’s serious view on the disqualification of MLAs who moved from the BRS to the Congress. Therefore, political circles have closely watched Danam Nagender’s statement.
