Hyderabad: Cyberabad Police Commissioner M. Ramesh on Monday launched the e-Office system, taking a major step toward paperless governance in one of Telangana’s leading police jurisdictions.
This digital system helps move files electronically, track documents in real time, store records safely, and speed up decisions. Officials believe it will improve transparency, boost accountability, and make police departments work more efficiently.
The launch supports the Telangana Government’s e-governance efforts. The State has directed all departments to switch to the e-Office platform to reduce paper use and respond faster to administrative needs.
Cyberabad Police e-Office system set to speed up governance
Developed under the National e-Governance Plan, the system brings digital workflows to public offices. It allows secure file handling and stores records in audit-ready digital formats.
To ensure smooth adoption, officials will provide full training and technical support. This approach will help departments, including police units, shift to digital processes without delays.
Cyberabad Police have become one of the first law enforcement units in the state to start using the system fully. The transition is expected to reduce response times, simplify internal communication, and strengthen administrative control.
