Hyderabad: The corporate gifting industry in India has reached a valuation of $75 billion and is projected to touch $90 billion within two years, said K. Suresh Kumar, President of Aurobindo Pharma Associates.
He made the statement on Friday during the inauguration of the Quest Asia Gifts & Stationery India Expo at HITEX Exhibition Centre in Hyderabad. According to him, the sector’s growth is strongly linked to the rise of IT and corporate industries especially in Hyderabad.
Kumar highlighted that Hyderabad is home to over 500 software and IT companies. In addition, it has more than 2,400 pharmaceutical firms and labs, along with several banks and multinational corporations. As a result, the city’s dense corporate ecosystem has nurtured a robust gifting culture, turning it into a thriving business segment.
