Hyderabad: CMC Commissioner G. Srijana inspected sanitation at Vokshith Hill View Colony in Gajularamaram Circle and interacted with residents on civic issues.
Residents raised concerns over waste management and garbage clearance. The Commissioner reviewed collection practices and checked route compliance during the visit.
She interacted with field workers and SAT drivers to assess their duties. She also examined attendance and supervision systems linked to civic services.
Sanitation review extends to park and utilities
During the inspection, Srijana visited Oxygen Park, also known as Paranavayuvu Park, developed by the Engineering and Urban Biodiversity wings. She spoke with walkers and gathered feedback on maintenance.
Further, she assured residents that officials would resolve sewerage and water supply issues in coordination with the Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board.
Deputy Commissioner, DEE, Assistant City Planner, UBD Manager and staff from the Entomology wing accompanied her during the visit.
