Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy is scheduled to visit Khammam district on Sunday, January 18. He will virtually inaugurate and lay foundation stones for multiple development works in the Palair constituency.
During the visit, he will conduct virtual ceremonies from Maddulapalli for projects located in Kusumanchi mandal and Edulapuram municipality.
Revanth Reddy Khammam visit to focus on health, agriculture, and irrigation
Key events include the foundation stone for a 100-bed government hospital in Kusumanchi. He will also inaugurate a newly constructed agriculture market and nursing college in Maddulapalli, under the limits of Edulapuram municipality.
Additionally, he will lay the foundation for the Munneru–Palair link canal (gravity scheme). This is a major irrigation project aimed at improving water connectivity in the region.
Later, the Chief Minister will interact with senior leaders and party workers from municipalities and corporations across the undivided district.
Revenue, Housing, and Information Minister and Palair MLA Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy urged Congress leaders and cadres from all mandals of Palair to mobilize in large numbers. Their participation will help ensure the success of the event. The program is set to begin at 10:30 am on Sunday.
