Hyderabad: CM Revanth Reddy will inaugurate BioAsia 2026 in Hyderabad on February 17. The forum ranks among Asia’s largest life sciences and biotechnology events.
BioAsia 2026 will run for two days. It carries the theme “TechBio Unleashed: AI, Automation & the Biology Revolution.” The event will bring together leaders from pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, healthcare and technology. In addition, policymakers from India and abroad will attend.
Minister for Industries and Commerce D. Sridhar Babu will join the inaugural ceremony as the Guest of Honour. Meanwhile, Dr Rajesh S. Gokhale, Secretary, Department of Biotechnology and Chairman of BIRAC, will attend. Sanjay Kumar, Special Chief Secretary, Industries and Commerce, Government of Telangana, will also participate.
BioAsia 2026 to focus on AI, biotech growth and supply chains
The inaugural sessions of BioAsia 2026 will focus on scaling innovation. Specifically, discussions will examine how science can integrate with digital technologies. Moreover, speakers will address the need for resilient global supply chains.
International experts from leading institutions and companies will deliver keynote addresses. Subsequently, panel discussions will explore growth drivers for pharma and biotech between 2026 and 2030. They will also discuss next-generation biologics and cell and gene therapies. In addition, experts will assess the expanding role of artificial intelligence in research, development and manufacturing.
A marquee CEO Conclave will deliberate on the future of global pharma and biotech. The discussion will consider evolving geopolitical and regulatory landscapes. On the second day, BioAsia 2026 will spotlight Global Capability Centres and patient-centric innovation. Furthermore, sessions will cover deep-tech manufacturing finance and India’s role in the global life sciences value chain.
