CM Revanth Reddy extends Dussehra greetings, highlights Telangana’s cultural unity

Hyderabad: Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy on Wednesday greeted the people of Telangana on the occasion of Dussehra. He described the festival as a celebration of victory, unity, and tradition.

In his message, Revanth Reddy said Dussehra, also known as Vijaya Dashami, plays a special role in Telangana’s cultural life. Across India, the festival symbolizes the triumph of good over evil.

He said Dussehra showcases the unity of Telangana’s diverse communities. He recalled local traditions like Shami Puja, exchanging Jammi leaves, seeking elders’ blessings through Alai Balai, and watching for the sacred Palapitta bird.

The Chief Minister prayed to Goddess Durga to bless the state with ongoing development. He wished everyone a joyful and prosperous Dussehra.
