Hyderabad: GHMC Mayor Gadwal Vijayalakshmi on Thursday announced that Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy will soon inaugurate the Women Bhavan and Multi-Purpose Function Hall at NBT Nagar.
The Mayor, along with Khairatabad Zonal Commissioner Anuraag Jayanthi, inspected the premises and reviewed the pending works. She instructed officials to complete the hall finishing and adjoining road development at the earliest.
Focus on women’s empowerment
Highlighting the CM’s women-centric initiatives under Indiramma Rajyam, the Mayor said the state government is committed to strengthening women’s empowerment, dignity, and social security. She added that the new facility will serve as a community space for multiple needs.
Financial aid to beneficiaries
Earlier at her Banjara Hills camp office, Vijayalakshmi distributed cheques to 17 beneficiaries under Kalyana Lakshmi and Shaadi Mubarak schemes. She also handed over financial assistance of ₹1.94 lakh to four beneficiaries from the Chief Minister’s Assistance Fund and ₹2.50 lakh to one beneficiary from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.
