Chief ministers invited across India for Telangana Rising Global Summit

Hyderabad: The Telangana government invited chief ministers from several states to the Telangana Rising Global Summit, which it planned as its flagship international platform. Ministers travelled across the country and delivered formal invitations directly to the respective leaders. The government aimed to attract global investment through the summit. It is also intended to strengthen Telangana’s brand on the international stage. Moreover, officials said preparations moved quickly as the state planned to unveil the Telangana Rising-2047 vision document during the event.

The government expected nearly 3,000 participants. They included national and international industry leaders, technology experts, diplomats, Union ministers and several chief ministers. It designed the event in a Davos-style format so Telangana could outline its long-term development plan. Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy and Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka have already invited Prime Minister Narendra Modi. They also reached out to several Union ministers. In addition, the government assigned ministers to deliver invitations to all state chief ministers.

Telangana Rising Global Summit receives wide outreach

Minister Seethakka emailed the official invitation to West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee because she was occupied with prior engagements. The chief minister’s office confirmed receipt and expressed its thanks. It also said it would place the invitation before Banerjee. Meanwhile, Minister Jupally Krishna Rao met Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma and requested his participation in the summit.

Minister Uttam Kumar Reddy invited Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah to New Delhi at the Jammu and Kashmir House. He presented the formal invitation and explained the state’s plan to build a three-trillion-dollar economy. Abdullah said he could not attend the summit; however, he wished the event success. Later, Reddy visited Chennai and invited Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin to his office. He handed over the official invitation during the meeting.

Himachal, Andhra leaders respond to invitations

Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy met Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu at his camp office. He requested his presence at the sessions scheduled in Hyderabad on December 8 and 9. He said the summit would follow a Davos-like structure and asked Naidu to join leaders from across the country.

Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu assured he would attend the Telangana Rising Global Summit-2025. He met Minister Adluri Laxman Kumar, who travelled to Himachal Pradesh to deliver the invitation.

Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka visited the residence of Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Friday and handed over the official invitation. He said the Telangana Rising-2047 vision document took shape after consultations with NITI Aayog, expert groups and detailed sectoral studies. He added that the state would release the document during the summit at Hyderabad’s Bharat Future City.
