Hyderabad: A Chaddi Gang burglary triggered panic at Flotilla Apartments in Manikonda after six suspected gang members allegedly entered the complex and broke into a flat.
The incident reportedly occurred at around 3.20 am. The suspects allegedly cut through fencing on the lakeside before entering the apartment premises.
They reportedly broke into a flat in C Block and fled after committing the theft. A woman attempted to intervene, but the suspects allegedly tried to attack her with weapons.
The incident caused panic among residents, who alerted Cyberabad Police. Officers then began collecting details from people living in the apartment complex.
Chaddi Gang probe continues after Manikonda burglary
Police started examining CCTV footage from the premises after the Chaddi Gang incident. Investigators were checking the footage to identify the suspects and trace their movements.
Officers also gathered information from apartment residents about the break-in and the sequence of events. The investigation continued as police examined available evidence from the complex.
