Hyderabad: Former Governor Bandaru Dattatraya registered his details for the Census 2027 self-enumeration phase at his residence in Ramnagar on April 26, 2026, urging citizens to cooperate with officials and provide accurate data.
The exercise was conducted in the presence of Praveen Reddy, along with Assistant Electoral Registration Officers and other enumerating staff, marking the rollout of the Census 2027 self-enumeration phase at the local level.
During the event, Bandaru Dattatraya completed the registration process as part of the Census 2027 self-enumeration. Officials facilitated the digital entry of his household details at his Ramnagar residence.
Addressing the occasion, he urged residents to actively take part in the Census 2027 self-enumeration and extend full cooperation to officials by submitting accurate information.
He described the Census as a vital national exercise that provides a comprehensive picture of the population and their socio-economic conditions. He added that the Census 2027 self-enumeration phase would help build a reliable database for governance and planning.
