Hyderabad, January 28: BRS leader RS Praveen Kumar has criticised Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, alleging that his thoughtless actions have caused significant harm to the state. Speaking at Telangana Bhavan during a media interaction, Kumar outlined the consequences of these actions, particularly on economic and industrial growth.
He mentioned that the previous BRS government had introduced the “Mobility Valley” initiative with the aim of boosting revenue, creating thousands of jobs, and attracting major investments to the state. According to him, the initiative was expected to generate crores of rupees in revenue and establish Telangana as a key industrial hub.
Highlighting the Formula E race conducted by the former government, Kumar stated that the event was part of a broader vision to host the race multiple times on an unprecedented scale. However, he claimed that due to the “reckless decisions” of Revanth Reddy, the state lost the opportunity to continue the Mobility Valley project.
Kumar further expressed his disappointment as a taxpaying citizen, alleging that the CM’s actions have resulted in losses for Telangana and its people. He pointed out that the state missed out on potential job opportunities for thousands of individuals.
He called for accountability and urged the public to question the chief minister’s role in this matter. Kumar alleged that the investments made by the previous government, which were intended to create employment and develop the state, have now been squandered.
As part of his efforts, RS Praveen Kumar said he has filed a police complaint at Narsingi Police Station against CM Revanth Reddy. He claimed to have gathered evidence through thorough research, which has been included in his complaint.
Further developments on the matter are awaited.
